CopyScript is a Chrome extension that copies YouTube video transcripts to your clipboard. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

CopyScript does NOT collect, store, or transmit any user data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No browsing history is tracked
• No analytics or telemetry data is sent
• No cookies are set or read
• No external API calls are made
• No data leaves your browser

How It Works

The extension operates entirely within your browser:

1. It reads the transcript panel DOM on YouTube video pages
2. It copies the transcript text to your local clipboard
3. No data is sent to any server

Permissions Used

• activeTab: To access the current YouTube page DOM when you click the Copy button
• youtube.com host permission: To inject the Copy button into YouTube's interface

Third-Party Services

CopyScript does not use any third-party services, APIs, or analytics tools.
